A dementia friend is someone who has undergone training and has the knowledge to engage with people with dementia sensitively. This training helps individuals understand how to recognize some of the more subtle signs of dementia, the best ways to approach and communicate with those living with the condition and how to provide support to them and their caregivers.
Here at Viva, all of our advisers have undergone the training to be a dementia friend.

Friends Against Scams is a National Trading Standards Scams Team initiative, which aims to protect and prevent people from becoming victims of scams by empowering people to take a stand against scams.
