Liz Murley

I have been working in the financial services advisory sector for nearly 40 years with a key focus on providing quality advice to clients to meet their needs. I have extensive experience of the mortgage industry but more latterly, following my retirement from a long career in banking, I have turned my attention to advising the over 55’s who wish to use their housing wealth to meet a wide range of needs.

Being in that age bracket myself I can fully appreciate the challenges faced when considering retirement and the range of conflicting priorities such as supporting adult children to achieve their dreams, repaying existing mortgages, or simply wanting a better retirement.

In 2019 I was lucky enough to be invited to be a member of the Equity Release Council’s standards board where I use my experience and expertise to assist the Council to ensure quality and safe equity release advice is delivered across the industry.
