Taking out a sum of money on your home thet you have owned outright for many years and then giving up part of that to a mortgage company can be quite a daunting prospect and fraught with worry whether you are doing the right thing. However, from the beginning of my enquiries with Viva and Mr Paul Saroya, I have found the whole experience to be both pleasant and straightforward.

 

Because of an illness that affects my processing of information, it has meant that I have had to ask Paul to repeat things many times until I was sure that I understood. He never once showed any impatience. it also meant that I often had to email or phone him when I had forgotten something or I was unnecessarily concerned that I might have misunderstood anything. He always responded quickly and never made me feel stupid or a pain. He also appreciated my sense of humour, which is a very important requirement for me and while we only had two actual meetings, in between we built up a relationship of trust and mutual respect.

 

All of the paperwork and documents that had to be read were so easy to understand and I knew exactly what I could and could not do and everything that was required of me was written down so that I have a permanent record to refer to at anytime. I did not know how I would feel once it was all completed but I have to say that I now feel that is one of the best decisions that I have made. I no longer have to worry about money and have given my children financial help when they needed it, as well as being able to to away on holiday or a break whenever I wish and replacing items that are wearing out in my home.
