My favourite saying is that we have “two ears and one mouth”.

Good communication skills are essential when advising clients, but to provide World class advice I believe the ability to really listen to your clients is key.

Completely understanding my clients’ needs, circumstances and aims, so I can find the best solution for them is my passion.

I’ve been working on these skills for over 40 years, but there is always more to learn.

I hold CeMAP, and CeRER financial qualifications, and I gained an MBA from Manchester Business School along the way.

When not at my desk, I like to keep busy in the community. I am a member and past president of our local Lions Club. We are an international charity that helps vulnerable & disadvantaged members of the community get their lives back on track, learn to help themselves and re engage with society. 

I’ve been married for over 40 years. I have 2 children and 2 Grandchildren. This growing family consumes the rest of my time.
